Galliate Castle (Italy)

The Castello di Galliate is a historic medieval fortress located in the municipality of Galliate, in the province of Novara, Piedmont. Built between the 10th and 11th centuries, the castle has been rebuilt and expanded several times over the centuries, until it assumed its current form in the 18th century. The rectangular structure is characterized by powerful corner towers and a large inner courtyard. Today the castle is used as a venue for cultural events and public festivals.
