Dundas Castle (Scotland)
West Lothian See list of castles in Scozia
The Dundas Castle is one of the most beautiful and historic castles of Scotland. Now officially recognized 5 Star Exclusive Use venue, the castle is the stately home of Stewart-Clark and his wife Lady Lydia.
The dramatic 'Auld Keep' of Dundas Castle was built in 1416 with the purpose of being both a home in peacetime and a wartime fort. In 1818, the luxurious main house which now borders was built by the famous architect William Burn. After having belonged to Stewart-Clark family for the last century or so, it is now a place 'exclusive use' which is booked in its entirety for a variety of events - weddings, conferences, business meetings, travel group visits incentives, golf parties, private dinners, launch parties and receptions.
Secluded in the peaceful countryside of its 1000 acres, just eight miles from Edinburgh, Dundas Castle offers all the comforts and high standards associated with the best of hotels.
The difference is - when you choose Dundas for your special event, belongs only to you and your guests for the duration of your stay. No other guest, without distractions. Nowhere else could be more perfect for you.
