Castle of Loarre (Spain)
Its silhouette is silhouetted against the landscape dramatically and behind it is a small leafy forest. The Castle Abbey of Loarre is a Romanesque castle that will take away your hiccups located in Huesca on a promontory of limestone. It is from the eleventh century but its state of preservation is excellent and perhaps that's why it was starring in the movie "The Kingdom of Heaven" by Ridley Scott with Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons. The fortress is a true vision, surrounded by a wall of 172 meters of perimeter. But wait to cross the entrance door, Romanesque style, to fall in love with the decorated capitals of the church of San Pedro, immerse yourself in the history of the dungeon and enjoy the views from the keep. We recommend that you follow the audio guide, because it will seem that the place is still inhabited.
