Wolfsthurn Castle (Italy)

In the eighteenth century Franz Andrä von Sternbach acquired Castel Wolfsthurn upstream Mareta and built between 1727 and 1741 the current castle which is still owned by the family.

The castle is an impressive example of Baroque architecture and is testimony to the enthusiasm of a time to the numeric references: Wolfsthurn fact has 365 windows, 52 doors, 12 chimneys and four portals that refer to the days, the weeks, the months and the seasons in the year.
