In Luján there is a castle in greyish tones with medieval towers. One of the architects of the Basilica of Luján, Ernesto Moreau, was commissioned to build this neo-Gothic style palace for the Beschtedt family in 1841. In 1913, the castle was acquired by Matilde Golpe Brañas de Naveira, and hers, her son, José, who undertook to hire the same architect to request an extension, as it is known today. One of the descendants, Alfonso Rodrigo, is the owner of the property.
